An alumnus of California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, where she received her BA and California teaching credentials in K-6/CLAD with a supplemental authorization in Social Science. She was recertified in the State of Texas in EC-6 (Generalist) and Gifted & Talented education. She earned an MEd. in Special Education from University of Houston, so she may better serve each student who enters her classroom.

Her aspirations for the future are to learn American Sign Language (ASL), and to become an educational diagnostician. 2021 marks her 14th year of service, and the seventh (7th) at Houston Quran Academy.
