I graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Global Health and the Environment and a double minor in Arabic and Islamic Studies. Since I graduated 7 years ago, I taught K-2 students and tutored middle school students in various subjects. This is my second year teaching 1st grade at Houston Quran Academy.
An alumnus of California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, where she received her BA and California teaching credentials in K-6/CLAD with a supplemental authorization in Social Science. She was recertified in the State of Texas in EC-6 (Generalist) and Gifted & Talented education. She earned an MEd. in Special Education from University of Houston, so she may better serve each student who enters her classroom. Her aspirations for the future are to learn American Sign Language (ASL), and to become an educational diagnostician. 2021 marks her 14th year of service, and the seventh (7th) at Houston Quran Academy.
I have a Diploma (a post graduate degree) in Analytical chemistry, B.Sc. in Biology and chemistry, and I spent two years in Medical school finishing most of the comprehensive basic science and advanced introduction into clinical medicine. I am a positive person who has an enthusiastic outlook on life. I love my job and I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals.
9 years experience teaching Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies. I have a High Diploma in Islamic Studies education, an Ijaza in teaching Nurani Qaida, and an Ijaza in Jazaria. I also have a Bachelors degree in Biology
15 years experience in teaching Quran and Arabic in Syria and 3 years in US. Alhamdolleh I have Ijaza (sanad) in Quran and ALjazaria.
